About

I am Yoona Yee [juna i], a Ph.D student in the Department of Linguistics at Seoul National University. My primary research interests are phonology and phonetics, and their interfaces with morphology, syntax, and semantics. Specifically, I am interested in phonetically based phonology and typologically skewed phenomena caused by phonetic factors. I have worked and am currently working on long-distance segmental phenomena, such as consonant harmony. I am also interested in the link between the phonotactics and alternations.
